Indian Railways, one of the largest rail networks in the world recruits anormous number of personnel in various cadres Indian Railways is divided into zones, which are further sub divided into divisions. These zone and divisions have technical and non-technical departments to which recruitment are done through Competitive exams. Technical departments include civil, technical and mechanical engineering, signalling and telecom, and several others dealing with similar disciplines, while the non-technical departments include general services such as accounts, personnel management, Railway protection Force (RPF) or security and traffic services, among others. Each department has staff at various levels. The highest are the Group A officers, while the lowest in rank are the Group D staff members.

Departments are classified into Gazette (Group A and B) and Non-Gazette (Group C and D) employees. Recruitment to group A service in various departments of Railways are made through Competitive Examination held by the Union Public Service commission and recruitment to Group C and D employees on the Indian Railways is done through 19 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) which are controlled by the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB).

RRB Eligibility 2021

All the interested candidates are requested to check the RRB Eligibility criteria 2021 before applying for the exam:

Age Limit: The age group of the aspirants should be between 18 years to 33 years. Only the reserved category students will get the relaxation to apply the exam.

Educational Qualification: The aspirants, who have completed their 10th/ 12th/ Graduation/ Post Graduation standard education or equivalent degree, are eligible for appearing the RRB 2021 exam.

Nationality:

  • Indian Citizen
  • The candidates, who are subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  • The refugee aspirants, who have come to India before January 1, 1962, and are willing to permanently settling to India, can apply for the test
  • The migratory citizen from Pakistan, Burma, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Uganda, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Kenya, but permanently settle in India, are eligible to appear for the exam.


RRB Application 2021

RRB Railway Recruitment Application form will be available from March 2021 (tentatively). The interested aspirants will need to check the eligibility criteria before you apply for the exam. To complete the application form fill-up process, the aspirants have to follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • First, open the RRB official website for starting the application form fill up process.
  • Then, you have to complete the registration process from the official website.
  • Now, to complete the registration process the candidates have to submit the name of the aspirants, name of the father, date of birth (according to the mentioned date in the Matriculations/ High School Exam/SSLC).
  • Once you complete the registration, you have to provide personal details, education details as well as other relevant information
  • Kindly assure that you have entered all the details correctly.
  • In the next step, the candidates have to upload the scanned copy of their passport size photograph and signature. The photos should be uploaded in the JPEG format.
  • After that, the candidates have to complete the application payment process.
  • Before submitting the application form, the aspirants are advised to cross verify the form for avoiding any error or mistake.
  • Lastly, the aspirants have to take a print out of the RRB Railway Application Form.
