For the academic session 2017-18, the pattern is expected to undergo no changes i.e. it will remain similar to that of IBPS RRB 2016 Pattern.   • IBPS RRB is conducted to recruit aspirant in various Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.
  • The exam is conducted for 2 Groups namely Group A (Scale I, Scale II, Scale III) and Group B (Office Assistant).
  • There is a provision of negative marking for the wrong marked answers.
  • IBPS RRB 2017 Exam Pattern differs for Scale I, II, III and Office Assistant posts.
  • The exams (Prelims/ Mains/ Single Examination) will be conducted in online mode i.e. CBT (Computer Based Test)
  • All the exams will be of Objective type i.e. they will Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Candidates will have an option to answer the questions in Hindi or English as per their preference.

Exam Pattern for IBPS RRB Prelims (Scale I)

  • There will be a total of 2 sections namely Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Both sections will have 45 questions each.
  • The duration for IBPS Prelims is 45 minutes.

Exam Pattern for IBPS RRB Mains (Scale I)

  • There will be a total of 5 sections namely Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Hindi/ English Language and Computer Knowledge.
  • The duration for IBPS Mains is 2 hours (120 minutes).
